WGI (Winter Guard International), a non-profit youth organization, is the world’s premier organization producing indoor color guard, percussion, and wind competitions. WGI uses a competition-based approach for organizing events in order to showcase youth activities in pursuit of high standards of achievement. Events include 50+ Regionals all around the world, which lead to the three-day World Championships that evaluate more than 300 winter guard programs.

Attending the WGI Austin Regional offers one of the most difficult competitive line-ups in the country. By competing with groups of this caliber, the Coppell performers are able to not only broaden their competitive horizons, but they are also exposed to many different forms and styles of performance that represent many different school districts from all over Texas. This is an experience that cannot be replicated locally.

The Coppell Varsity Winter Guard is a 2021 WGI World Championships Finalist, a 2022 WGI World Championship Semi-Finalist, and is a 14 time WGI Regional Finalist since 2016. Thank you for your support of this incredibly hardworking team!
